Vikings is so good omg. It's right next to South Point casino and the place is huge! We called beforehand and the employee we talked too was very nice. She explained about how it works and explained the menu. It was a pretty far drive but it was worth it. The place is huge and super high ceilings. It's so cute because they had a Vikings ship in the middle of the restaurant. The food is super delicious! The sauce was amazing and not too spicy. We also got oysters! For everything we probably paid around $300.
So my girlfriend's co worker told her about this place so we decided to give it a shot, the place itself looks really nice and the cool thing is where you sit it's kind of like a big Boat. Super duper cool, the people who work there are usually always very friendly. I have been to this place 2 more times after I came for the first time with my girlfriend. We had a great time here and the food was great. The shrimp - So for the shrimp I want to say we got it with sausage and potatoes. The sausage was nice and Smokey and the shrimp was nice and buttery! Mild Cajun. The appetizers - the Texas toast was nice and crispy with the garlic taste that we all love, the Cajun fries forsure had Cajun seasoning but not over powering. And the calamari was super delicious as it was very crispy. Food - 10 / 10 Service - 10 /10 Setting - 10 / 10 Total 10 / 10 !!!
Wow huge menu and a fun ambience with a big ship and lighthouse inside. Food was good! Huge portions. Birthdays are a must here! So fun! We took my son for his birthday! My favorite food was the crab legs! Yum! Garlic bread was good too. My kids loved the crayfish and mussels.
After frequenting this restaurant more times than I'd like to admit, I can confidently say that everything remains as delicious as ever. My current go-to order is shrimp and black mussels Cajun Style with Spicy-level spice. If you find the garlic in the Vikings Style too overpowering, I highly recommend the Cajun Style for a perfect balance of flavors. One recent change is that they no longer allow online orders through their website or phone orders ahead of time. While this is only a slight inconvenience, it has somewhat reduced the frequency of my visits. Despite this, the staff is efficient, and your order is usually ready within 5 minutes if you order in person and take it to go. When I inquired about the change, they explained it was due to losing money from disputes and claims of unplaced orders via credit card companies--a valid reason. Despite this minor hiccup, the quality of food and the overall experience remain top-notch. I still look forward to supporting this restaurant and enjoying their delicious offerings.
Our family has been blessed with another annual trip to Vegas to celebrate Father's Day and my baby brother's birthday! Birthday Boy's venue choice was the Viking's Boiling Seafood. Upon arrival we were greeted by a welcoming young lady. She confirmed our reservation which they so kindly accommodated us with at a very short notice. Mind you, our party was a total of 21 guests. Although not all of our guests were there at the time of check-in, the hostess said she could gladly take us to our table. Fabulous Customer Service in my opinion!! When everyone was seated, our friendly servers started off with our drinks. They gave us time to look over the menu since you know, our party was huge. Everyone had separate orders but they were A okay with that too!! Food was perfectly delicious!! A little too spicy for my liking but that's because we chose mild for spice level. The highlight of the evening was when the staff came out to serenade the birthday boy with a little song and dance!! It was absolutely incredible! Never had this type of entertainment anywhere!! Kudos to the wonderful staff for such an exceptional dining experience!! I look forward to dining here again in the future!!
I liked this place and will return. Will it still be here? I don't know. It seemed like the staff greatly out numbered the patrons. We were well taken care of and then some. We sat in the boat which is always fun inside a booth. A friend was on a date so there was plenty of seafood to try or share. The king crab was so good. I have usually been a fan of baby octopus or crawfish but for time and energy, you get such a better deal with getting the giant king crab legs. We got some spicy shrimp with the crawfish to fill that craving. This place is similar to Boiling Crab but a little nicer inside and much less of a wait. It wasn't too loud to have a date night and the food was good. I think they had some nice specials too. I recommend giving them a try.
Let's talk about their Cajun shrimp pasta. I'll admit, I'm a sucker for a good pasta dish, and this one blew me away. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, it's everything you could want and more. The Cajun seasoning adds a delightful kick that elevates the dish to new heights. Each bite leaves you wanting just one more taste. And then there's the market price Cajun shrimp. Fresh, plump, and perfectly seasoned. And to complement these dishes, may I recommend their michelada? It perfectly complements the flavors of the seafood.
